It is my understanding that this currently being worked on.

As far as the UK holiday dates go, if you could do a list 
of the dates and send it address@hidden  
I am sure they would then be added.

please please add email alerts from calendar - this is the 
only feature missing for me. 
is there a way to get email reminders right now (0.9.12)
