Summary: When doing compose I get PSPELL couldn't open the dictionary. reason:
Unable to load the "aspell" module.

Original Submission: We have a new Redhat 7.1 system we just installed
phpgroupware on. When we click on compose we get the error:
Warning: PSPELL couldn't open the dictionary. reason: Unable to load the
"aspell" module. in
/var/www/html/phpgroupware/email/inc/class.spell_svc_php.inc.php on line 105

I checked and we do have aspell installed as well as a PHP with --with-pspell.
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Sorry my mistake. You need the libaspell installed as well as the libpspell
for the pspell support in php to function. --with-aspell is not needed, my
mistake.

Let me know how you go

Cheers

The PHP is the stock redhat 7.1. It is configured with --with-pspell, as the
PHP site suggests. I was unaware that there was a --with-aspell.

Does your php install also have --with-aspell ?
