I have never tried to delete a whole group of users.  I 
suspect the sql is trying to delete any active sessions for 
those users.  This will have the affect of immediately 
kicking them out of phpgw, which is what is desired if 
their account has been deleted.

btw were you a member of the group you were trying to 
delete?
