=================== BUG #1592: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================

Submitted by: archie2                   Project: phpGroupWare

Category: felamimail Bug Group: 0.9.14 release
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: Low
Resolution:  Fixed                      Assigned to:  lkneschke
Status:  Closed                         Component Version:  None
Platform Version: Linux - Mandrake Reproducibility: None

Summary: Mail login - Invalid user name

Original Submission: I am running Mandrake v9 and eXtremail email server. I
was able to see the messages with felamimail but not able to do anything else
(view messages, manage folder,etc). It was giving me an error, that I had an
invalid user name. Checking the logs from eXtremail server, I found that
because the user logging in requires username.domainname, felamimail was
performing uername\.domainname and eXtremail treated it as a bad username.
I changed quotemeta($username) to $username on line 129 of
/inc/imap_general.php and it is working fine.
