it is not possible to switch to other user's calendars with the ldap backend 
(see bug 1242)

Summary:  switching to a group and back to a user loses all events

Original Submission:  this occurs with an LDAP backend and cvs of 
Version-0_9_14-branch from 09/24.

Changing the user to a group and back to that user
causes the user's calendar to appear blank.
A user must log out and log in again to view his calendar again.

Do you have the user listed twice in the drop down list?

Does this also occur when changing between user's calendars?

Can you please let me know.
