That's the version, though pulling the latest CVS didn't help.

The db is mySQL 3.23.49-8 and the web server is Apache 1.3.26-0woody1 on
Debian(woody).

Summary: Address Book with zero custom fields gives operand error

Original Submission: Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in
/usr/share/phpgroupware/addressbook/inc/class.uiaddressbook.inc.php on line 821

The above error is generated when I try to add a contact (but the contact is
added despite the error) in the address book. Also when I try to view or edit a
contact, I get that error.

This occurs from installation and even when I did a CVS update. The error goes
away if you add a custom field, such as "Blood Type" in my case. That custom
field then cannot be deleted, but that's another issue.

I'm guessing something isn't allowing for a null return of custom fields.

(Great work, by the way.)
