/usr/local/intranet/html/filemanager/inc/class.vfs.inc.php on line 464

Here are a few things to check in you php.ini.  They are in alphabetical order 
... as i don't have access to my php.ini to check the order they are in there.

You should have the following values:
file_uploads = on
max_execution_time = 90
memory_limit = 20M -use this formula: upload_max_filesize * 4
register_globals = on
upload_max_filesize = 5M

Restart apache after editing this and let me know how you go.

Thanx skwashd, i have managed to change to phpwebhosting but suprisingly this 
time there is no error and no files are being uploaded, iam able to create text 
files etc, but uploading is not happening, any clues. look at the snapshop 
after uploading the image using phpwebhosting.

As of .14 filemanager has been replaced with phpwebhosting.  Please use this 
instead of filemanager.
