Summary:  no work without /phpgroupware directory

Original Submission:  after install and setup on a virtual root e.g. 
group.company.net, something wrong is happend:
setup - ok, all pathes are ok
login - after typing group.company.net on the browser, there is the 
login-screen but the submit button want to go to 
group.company.net/phpgroupware/login.php
I think there is something wrong with some pathes!
May somebody had this problem to? It´s on 0.9.14 and 0.9.12 too.

make sure in setup that you have set the URL correctly, not in header manager, 
go into setup/config admin login then in step 2 click edit current 
configuration. Third item down is URL. You need  http://group.company.net here.
