=================== BUG #754: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================
Submitted by: None Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: 2002-Jun-26 08:51
Category: API - phpGWapi Bug Group: 0.9.14 RC3
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: High
Resolution: None Assigned to: None
Status: Open Platform Version: Linux - RedHat
Reproducibility: Every Time
Summary: new class datetime is broken always users_localtime returns 19700101
Original Submission: The new date time class is broken.
debug output is as follows:
<!-- datetime::datetime::gmtnow = 0 -->
<!-- datetime::datetime::debug: Inside network time -->
<!-- datetime::datetime::tz_offset = -->
<!-- datetime::datetime::server:tz_offset = 284734.75527778 -->
<!-- datetime::datetime::gmtnow = 0 -->
Not sure of the exact cause but here are some ideas.
1 - line 68 socket open daytime on a-time.nist.gov(129.6.15.28:13) fails
because it is not a public server outside US?
causes the following error
"PHP Warning: socket_set_timeout(): supplied argument is not a valid
File-Handle resource in
/var/www/html/phpgroupware/phpgwapi/inc/class.network.inc.php on line 81"
I have added new rule to firewall to allow connection to daytime server
2 - Something else is wrong
Cheers
