hi plex,

Have you checked you permissions for the temp directory specified in your
configuration? If your webserver user (ie nobody) can write to the directory
the attachments can't be written on the server before they are forwarded and so
they get dropped.

Let me know how you go,

Cheers

=================== BUG #436: FULL BUG SNAPSHOT ===================

Submitted by: plexq Project: phpGroupWare
Submitted on: 2002-May-22 23:57
Category: email Bug Group: 0.9.14 RC3
Severity: 5 - Major Priority: None
Resolution: None Assigned to: None
Status: Open Platform Version: Linux - RedHat
Reproducibility: Every Time

Summary: Clicking forward on an email looses all attatchments

Original Submission: Most of the emails that a user needs to forward will have
attatchments. The email system is virtualy useless without a way to forward
email with atatchments. Neither the 'email' module nor the 'felamimail' module
seem to offer this functionality. The email module seems must more friendly
though, and that is what we are using. Downloading the attachment and
re-attaching it of course works, but that is not a sensible solution.
