Sorry, but I think you have a mixed checkout.  The get_var() function was 
definitely added prior to modding additional code to use it.  Check for a Tag 
file in the CVS dirs of you phpgwapi or phpgwapi/inc dirs.

Summary:  get_var( ) from cvs phpgwapi isn_t used/working

Original Submission:  When I use the latest CVS-version of phpgwapi and the 
1.23 or 1.24 of class.boaddressbook the system tells me
that the get_var function istn_t defined!

with version 1.22 it_s working
