k so we should handle this as a feature request than :). i will figure it out
for the .16 release. we will also need a preferences option to choose selecting
entries by cat and its subs or exactly by cat.

That's what you said.

I noticed this point because the 'tree' organisation of the categories
made us think that this container/sub-container mode, like inheritance in
object programming, would be used for the same purpose :

If B inherit from A then :
        - B is a A, completely with no restriction
        - if you ask for all A objects, then because B is a A, the B's are
listed too
(I read my Myers :) )

That's usefull in aan orgisation like :

Customers
        Customers from south
        Customers from North
        Customers from East
        Customers from West
Little customers from West These are implicitely 'Customers
from West' AND 'Customers'
                Big customers from West
        Etc...

We can handle the present situation by setting a 'Big etc..' ALSO in 'Customers
from West' and 'Customers' but it is Heavy and less natural.

if you sorted the contact to the subcat it only should show up there, and not
in the maincat too. is it this what you noticed? if not, could you please
explain a bit more detailed?
