I've done a final year University project on online 
PIM's and I think the addressbook would really benefit 
from an a-z row to select listings from a certain 
letter onwards.

It's a standard entry point for most addressbooks.

It would be just a case of making each button perform 
search really..

Another improvement would be automatic cvs detection 
for imports. This should be pretty easy to do and will 
make the system more usable.

Removal of the americanizations like state would be 
good and all the old phone number types. more mobile 
fields would be suitable.

Tabed interface would be better too.

http://www.solve360.com is a fantastic interface.

I'll try and implement all the above as soon as i can.
