You maybe first want to look at the sync system that is reported to work.

I don't remember the details so I may have some wrong:

the sync app created by the Probusiness company is in cvs (inside it is an
install howto)

it uses the java app sync4j to create a sycml protocol interface to other apps
(a native syncml interface system for phpgw is in development)

commercial 3rd party apps are reported in the mailing lists to work with a
number of pdas and apps (including outlook).


Alternatively, there is an addressbook schema diagram in the wiki somewhere
for the adressbook.  The calendar is only a few tables and noone has bothered
to make a diagram of it yet
