Hi Meghan,

the status "ALIGN" means that the AHRS is not yet aligned (i.e. it is still initializing).

During this phase it lowpasses the IMU measurements and filters out the data where you were moving the frame.

Once the AHRS is aligned, you are good to go...

What IMU,AHRS are you using? Are you getting IMU measurements?

Please don't use the fix information or the status information.
They may be wrong. Lock at the co-ordinates and do not launch if there are not correct.
Some other users lost they aircraft. The positions where in de middle of the Atlantic see near africa 0.0,0.0).
I think  there is a problem with the  back up battery.
If the voltage is wrong the ublox module will get no reset after power on.
Power the autopilot a few hours and the battery voltage is ok.

When we power up Tiny with the xbee's communicating, the GPS status is "Align" instead of "3D." There is a solid green light showing that it has GPS lock, but we have been waiting 40 minutes for the status to update to "3D." 

Does anyone have any idea how to obtain 3D or what the status "Align" means?
