Re: [Paparazzi-devel] vibration filter

I did many many (ATT-mode) flights (50+) with a well balanced AscTec over the last years. I considered this platform very reliable, well balanced, responsive etc.
Until one day something happened probably during transport that unbalanced 1 prop, increasing the vibration to a level which the ahrs apparently could not handle...

My point: if the props need to be balanced to allow stable flight, you do not have a lot of margin.

options: vibration warning system, ahrs update to accept more vibration (latency compensated filtering), ... ?

Hi Iman!

The best trick is to balance the propeller properly.

Hello

I get very big vibration from accelerometer measurements, I'm using STM32f4
discovery with daughter board that equipped GY-86 (MPU6050+MS5611+HMC5883)
sensor with an electric glider(FMS ASK23).

Is there any software or hardware trick?
