If you put your extra sensors on a different i2c bus, this should
not have an impact on the other one (well, I hope so...).
I don't remember if we have finally implemented the watchdog on i2c
for the lpc, but it might be a solution to this problem (by
restarting the peripheral).

Thanks for the hint. I recently added a pressure and a speed
sensor, using up all two available i2c ports on the board. Looks
a bit like that could have triggered the issue.

more related to an issue in the i2c driver on the old lpc2148
boards. Unfortunately I never manage to trap the error with a
logical analyzer or a debugger. I don't really know how to
search for it, it is really random.
