(For Spektrum receiver only) What do you think about shorting PPM_IN and RX2_IN, setup PPM_IN as an output during the binding process, and use this combined pin as Spektrum receiver I/O ?

Since the binding needs to use the Rx pin as a gpio input, I guess you will have to use an other uart for your spektrum module
