Maybe your sensor doesn't works well with the preasure or the flow of the gasoline. Check this, I'm sure there is the problem.
Another method is to use a perialistic pump (dispense pump) with and rotary encoder and buffer tank bevore the engine. This is maybe the most percise way. It fills the buffer tank until a sensor stops it because the buffer is full.
And the pump gets only startet when the buffer reched an certain minimum level.

look for model supplier like Graupner they have a flue sensor for the back channel of the RC transmitter

i need a precise gas meter because it be used in a 3m uav.
