I also had the same issue - sd2log did not work with data from logomatic UART1, but no problems with UART0. I will update the wiki to reflect this.

Any idea why sd2log doesn't work with data collected on UART1? The only diference in the data seems to be the source byte (00 or 01).

That was indeed the problem. One needs to connect the logomatic with its uart0 port !
I think that should be clarified on the wiki.
