This PCB has a  USB input for USB cameras and a  display ram.
The Linux  is able to show the video and  technical data in the same window via the display ram.
Normal cameras with  RGB output can by applieing  a frame graqpper by the USB interface.
For only mixing large numbers on Video signals you can find avr ATMEGA solutions in the internet.
Analysing the sync signal  and  overwriting the Video with the text by a wired or.
