Remember that only channels from 1 to 5 are available in that PPM signal. If I were you I would put another 3pin connector to the case (wherever you like as you have to cut it for it xD) and let the original connector

without modifications.

If you find the pin on the board with the ppm signal, the wiki shows where that is, you can jumper that to one of the signal header pins and remove the resistor for that pin so it doesn't get the original pwm signal.

I just got my Futaba R617FS receiver but I am not sure how to get it working, don´t really understand the wiki instructions, if someone is using the same receiver and is working fine please help me with this.
