Subject: quadcopter using twog
To:
address@hiddenhi,
Going by first type of ESCs(PPM based motor controller) that u mentioned in the previous mail,i came across a post in one of the paparazzi forums which states that the PWM output given by TINY board is around 60 Hz. But, quadcopters require a PWM frequency of around 500 Hz for optimal performance . So the post in the forum says that there is a decade encoder which comes before the ppm decoder .The decade encoder lowers the frequency from 500(approx.) to 60 Hz(because it is apt for fixedwing aircrafts) . Now,having required to do a sofware level change , i'm stuck up on how exactly the decade encoder could be bypassed.
Kindly help me in this regard.
Thanks in advance,
