I noticed that in order for the throttle to come on in the takeoff block when 
you switch into auto2, you need to put the throttle on the transmitter up to 
activate it.

Hi Guruganesh,

It's possible you've not removed the throttle kill.
If you are using the default flightplan, you need to disable throttle kill
in settings (you can't just switch the block to Standby).
