Hi Chris,

if the waypoints spins, it means that it wasn't acknowledged. A waypoint change is not acknowledged if the new waypoint computed onboard (in UTM coordinates) differs too much from the one requested (in LLH coordinates).
I imagine this is a problem due to the geocentric coordinates (earth modeled as a sphere) used in JSBSim, instead of geodetic coordinates (earth modeled as an ellipsoid).

I guess you will have to dig further into it to fix it...

Cheers, Felix

All,

I'm not sure if anyone has noticed this before, but when I'm
simulating using JSBSIM and the GCS and I move a waypoint, the plane
flies off and no longer follows the waypoints. It just fires off in a
straight line and the moved waypoints just spin. Has anyone noticed
this before?

Best,
Chris
