Also, your xbee modems should be configured for using xbee API communication mode. The configuration string is usually in the framework donfig file, but it can also be done manually and stored in the modems.

 

Looks like right now they work in serial mode.

If flipping the modems around didn't solve the problem, the modems should be correctly configured for bi-directional transmission.
Which telemetry file are you using, as there are issues with xbee 868s related to regulatory demands - specifically, them switching off after 6 minutes.

Have you checked your hardware connections between the modem & the autopilot, specifically the TX output of the xbee (RX on the UART)?  If this cable were not connected, you'd get the symptoms you describe.

the telemetry is working fine from the A/P to the GSC during the fly
