[Paparazzi-devel] Servo signal processing in MANUAL mode?

Before i go mad i thought that i better ask this here.
Can anyone tell me how the servo PWM signal is processed until 
it reaches the autopilot's servo output (4017) in MANUAL mode?
I have the below readings but i cannot explain them (i am getting old and tired)
RC Tx aileron  =  1520us (measured)
Radio file aileron = 950 - 1500 - 2050
Airframe aileron  = 950 - 1500 - 2050
aileron servo output = 1485us in MANUAL

Should't this be 1520?
The servo PWM is proportional ie if i move the aileron stick to the right
the tx's aileron servo pwm decreases as is the autopilot's servo aileron
PWM.  
I am sure that i am missing something.
