Looks like it is a 32bit/64bit issue. I only get the error on a 64bit
system I use for simulation only. 32bit systems are ok. This would make
sense, on a 64bit system the pointer &pers_settings would be 64bit and
could not be casted to uint32_t.
Stephen, did the error occur on a 64bit system?
