Not sure if this is what you're problem is but I've been in
communication with digi/xbee company and received firmware to address
issue I had with uplink (joystick) latency. Problem sounds similar as
I had no problems with 2.4's but 900s were super twitchy. Not sure if
they've released firmware rev on website but guessing 900 firmware
might be similar to xtend. . . Can supply for test with 900s.

And yes I owe some responses to other joystick questions, I apologize.
Responses are imminent.
