If you would choose to use the 2Hz GPS, you should check all the airborne nav code to be sure it can handle running at 2Hz and doesn't have hardcoded 4Hz stuff. Better reflash your GPS with the older but lighter v5 firmware.

so what is better, to use Firmware v6 at to set the settings to 500ms to get 2Hz supported by the version or to use v5 and set the settings to 250ms to get 4Hz?

Hi Roman,

The version of u-center is not important, but the version of the GPS-FIRMWARE (code in the GPS). The version 6 gps code can not handle the 4Hz update rate anymore, so that has some importance.

Hi guys,

I am using LEA 5H GPS receiver. In the wiki is said that I need to use u-center v5 ONLY! I cannot find the version 5 online. On the page I can see the version 6.01 only. It is really so important to use the version 5 or the version 6 is also fine?

Could anybody send a version 5 on my e-mail please.

Thank you.
