Martin,

thank you for the rapid answer.

> The /dev/paparazzi/xbee is generated by an udev rule if a Maxstream USB
vid/pid is seen. You can try /dev/ttyUSB0 or wherever your modem appears or
add your USB vid/pid to the /etc/udev/rules.d/10-paparazzi.rules in the
Maxstream area.

I have never worked with Linux/Ubuntu before, and it difficult to imagine
how to do it. May be there is some step-by-step explanation online? It could
be very helpful for such "loser" in Linux as I am.

> Failure("Error opening modem serial device : fd < 0 (/dev/ttyUSB0)")
> This looks as if there is no USB modem connected? What modem are you using
here, what does dmesg say if you plug your USB modem?

An XBeePro USB 2.4 GHz is used in my case. Dmesg command shows:

... (a lot of present system information)
[ 74.500329] Clocksource tsc unstable (delta = -494488015 ns)
[ 246.924314] usb 7-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address

But it doesn´t tell me a lot about the problem and how to solve it. Any
ideas? Are there some ways to prove if my modems speak to each other (if the
telemetry presents)?

It is annoyed to work in Linux, but I am ready to learn it.

Thanks,

Roman
