You are right, they are in parallel. I will switch to series. Thanks for this!

I think you mean in parallel if you are still getting 7.4 volts. But try using 3 cell or even run your 2 batteries in series to get 14V

I am using 2 x two cell lipos (800mah 7.4 volt) in series to give me 1600mah at 7.4 volts. Would this still be an issue?

What power source are you using??? I have had issues using 2 cell lipo's. I know it's meant to work at that voltage but simply putting 3 cell on the board fixes everything.

I fixed up my last issue doing the fixes you gave, a big THANKYOU.

I am able to load firmware on my TWOG and have done many different uploads successfully including the Flash lights testing firmware. I initially used the Funjeteth1 but changed to the Microjet5 because it has less extras in the code to confuse me. I changed the GPS setup so I can use the LEA-5H and the rest looks correct to my untrained eye.

I have tested the voltage at the GPS and other sensors to make sure they are all getting power.

When I try to connect to the TWOG via the USB to serial cable (FTDI utility board), I get a completely blank GCS and there are no errors. It seems there is no data connection between the TWOG and computer, but this is just a stab in the dark by me. I am pretty sure the baud rates are correct because I changed them and the Autopilot crashed (no lights or solid red light). I followed the compiling guide on the Paparazzi wiki exactly from start to finish two times, but I still got no output from my TWOG. When I select tools messages the window is blank on both computers.

One thing I am unsure about, if I plug the modem into the FTDI board, a red light comes on at the back of it, but doesn't come on if I plug directly into the TWOG board (no modem on FTDI utility).

I never get the green GPS fix light coming on, I am unsure how to test the thermopiles.

I have tried this on two different computers with two different Paparazzi versions, just in case it was an update issue, nothing changed.

I bought my hardware from ppzuav.com as a pack.

Would anyone have an idea of where I am going wrong. I seem to be so close to getting this working, but there is no GPS fix and the GCS and TWOG wont talk.
