Hi,

are you able to reproduce the problem by replaying the logs ?

I made some progress in narrowing down this error. It seems like it's related to the ivybus buffer (http://svn.tls.cena.fr/filedetails.php?repname=ivy&path=%2Fivy-c%2Ftrunk%2Fsrc%2Fivysocket.c&rev=3339&sc=1)

As I was expecting, it is getting full (probably because of the amount of data I am sending), the function tries to realloc the buffer and it seems to succeed since the message is printed, but that still causes the GCS to crash. Could it be that somewhere the GCS is expecting the ivy buffer to be a certain size and is unable to handle the new increased size properly?

I am comfortable with the airborne software at this point, but the GCS end of things is like a black-box to me since it's written in ocaml... so any help is very welcome!

Sincerely,
Zouhair

Hi,

I've recentely started getting these errors on my GCS after which either the GCS or the entire paparazzi center crashes:
Buffer Limit reached realloc new size 8192
*** send ***: Bad file descriptor

Before they weren't much of a problem since they happened infrequently , usually after having left the GCS run for a long time (upwards of 2 hours) but now this is happening a lot more frequently (only after 5 minutes sometimes but on average after 10 mins) It might be because I have been down-linking a lot of data in the last couple of flight tests (I should also mention that the GCS is receiving data from two UAVs)

Any ideas what would be causing this and where I should be looking to get it fixed?

Thanks,
Zouhair
