Chris,
The paparazzi team includes you :)  sooooo get writing.  Actually airspeed control coupled with pitch control is an interesting problem.  My theory is a lot of the simple control logic that paparazzi uses would have to change to really make the airspeed/altitude system work.

Great work Vassilis.
If Eagletree provide a sensor that will output directly the IAS then
many application will be able to use it not only the Paparazzi autopilot.
Model Jets already use an IAS instrument in order not to exceed the
airframe's
speed limit and brake up in the air.
After the sensor becmes available we need the Paparazzi team to modify
the code in order to actually use airspeed sensor's data.
