No problem, you can use Paparazzi infrared sensor boards with 5v power supply.

I looked through the mailing list but couldn't find this discussed
anywhere.  The Tiny's use 3.3V to supply the infrared sensors, but I
want to use the same sensors with ArduPilot.  Is there any reason why a
5V supply wouldn't work with the Double Small (IRH) and the Single Slim
(IRV) boards?  I know the thermopiles, opamps, and other components can
all handle 5V.  Anybody foresee possible problems?
