I have a Hitec Laser 6 with the aux gain knob switched out for a 3 position switch that seems to work pretty well. It's 72 MHz.

I have the oscillioscope data and a radio conf file made up for it; they're just not in cvs.

You can use futba 2,4ghz in paparazzi ,I do . With the included receiver you can find the ppm stream but ony 5 ch of them 1 to 5 . The 6 and 7 are handled separately and only available with the encoder. I use a futaba 6exh 2.4 also with the 4th ch in the radio modified as a 3point switch . Is all I need for the easystar.

I've used a Futaba T7CAP transmitter for my Paparazzi projects, but it died recently, so I'm shopping for a replacement. I loved the T7CAP, but apparently Futaba now only makes this model (and all other mid-high end models) in 2.4GHz versions. Many of the other transmitters in paparazzi3\conf\radios are also not sold any longer due to the rapid switch to 2.4GHz.

Are there any 72 MHz transmitters left on the market that have been tested out to work for Paparazzi systems? Or, do I need to bite the bullet and purchase a 2.4GHz system, a new receiver (for each of my various RC aircraft), and a PPM encoder board?

John
