Hi,

To give a bit of background, in case someone knows what to do.

Before installing the arm7 package, i am able to run with target = sim but not target = ap

After installing the package, i am no longer able to run target = sim nor target = ap

And this applies to all the default a/c, eg Tj1, Mj5, HITL.

It did manage to compile successfully once, the first time i ran paparazzi centre after installing arm7. and the configuration files were exactly the same. I got excited and uploaded it to the autopilot, and the upload seem to go successfully, with the “starting program at ......” output. But the no longer is a blinking light for the autopilot. It never came back, after countless power cycling.

And with this compilation error, i cannot reflash the autopilot.

I have not yet managed to get autopilot running, today is the first day i powered it on.

For more information of the error of my latest compile, see below:

/home/hope/paparazzi/var/Tj1/ap/nav.o: In function ‘ nav_periodic_task’:

nav.c:(.text+0x1c42): undefined reference to ‘ nav_line_init’

nav.c:(.text+0x1c9b): undefined reference to ‘ nav_survey_rectangle_init’

nav.c:(.text+0x20df): undefined reference to ‘ nav_survey_rectangle’

nav.c:(.text+0x2598): undefined reference to ‘ nav_line’

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Hi,

You are right. I have just installed the arm7 package. However, now i have another error. All configuration files remain the same:

/home/hope/paparazzi/var/Tj1/ap/nav.o: In function ‘ nav_periodic_task’:

nav.c(.text+0x25ac): undefined reference to ‘ nav_line’

nav.c(.text+0x2638): undefined reference to ‘ nav_survey_rectangle.init’

nav.c(.text+0x264c): undefined reference to ‘ nav_survey_rectangle’

etc

and the compiler stops. Can someone help me?

Hi KL,

that sound like you don't have all the dependencies installed. Specifically the gcc-arm package.
See http://paparazzi.enac.fr/wiki/Installation for the instructions. You need the paparazzi-arm7 package, that has the needed other packages as dependencies.

Cheers, Felix

 Hi,

Appreciate if someone can help me please. I am a new user of PPZ. well, not yet a user... since i can't seem to get it working yet.

1.           i can run the simulation on Paparazzi Center, with all my airframe, radio files slightly modified for my purposes/equipment. In Paparazzi Center, target = sim and session = simulation. The fact that i can compile and run the simulation w/o problems (i.e. i can move the aircraft around, loiter etc) means that my configuration files are correct right?

2.           am i correct to say that when i want to compile it to burn into the TWOG, i change the target to ap (instead of sim) and click build? Problem is when i change the target to ap and click build, i get this error message:

AS /home/hope/paparazzi/var/Tj1/ap/crt0.o

sh: arm-elf-gcc: command not found

make[1]: *** [/home/hope/paparazzi/var/Tj1/ap/crt0.o] Error 127

make[1]: Leaving directory ' /usr/share/paparazzi/sw/airborne'

make: *** [ap.compile] Error 2

make: Leaving directory

same error message happens when i compile (in ap mode) the default TJ1, MJ5 and HITL a/c. And all of the before mentioned a/c works in simulation. May i know the problem?
