To be honest with you guys i have always had better luck with the LEA-4P chipset. Even in terms of accuracy. I have found some weird issues with it. I mean the 5H works ok but i would still rather use a 4p

Hi!

I found this and wanted to share it with you guys:
Someone on another forum (www.mikrokopter.de) found out, that the LEA5H has problems with constant datarates, when receiving more than 8 satellites
(already turned off all extra stuff). He says the LEA4 chip performs much better and gives a constant update rate all the time.

As Jeremy pointed out on the wiki, they used the wrong antenna.  A passive antenna would have been perfect, but they used the active....  Makes me wonder why?  Possibly something wrong in the design, who knows.  Great price though!

Hey guys,

Take a look at this:

It's a dream come true ;)

A GPS module with a Ublox 5H and a sarantel Geohelix.

The only issue might be the connector, but I guess the best thing to do would be to remove the flex cable and solder wires directly to the PCB.

What do you guys think?
