Hi,

the code is still there. If ADC_CHANNEL_IR_TOP is not defined, the ir_top value is initialized with IR_DEFAULT_CONTRAST (sw/airborne/infrared.c:155) which then must be defined in the airframe file. It could be a good idea to add this ir_top variable to your settings file to be able to adjust the value in real time: for example, before the launch, measure the contrast with the lateral or longitudinal sensors and set ir_top with this value.

I've been waiting on a vertical sensor for about 2 months now. As such, I looked into getting around it but it seems the common consensus is to get one. I think Anton? even mentioned that the code to do only horizontal sensor flying has been taken out of pprz.

Hello,

I couldn't find any exemple showing the use of the paparazzi board without IR vertical sensor.

How should I configure my airframe file ?

Thanks in advance

Cedric
