Anyone know are there any good to use the ADIS16350 High Precision IMU (6DOF), on Tiny!  Does this sensor worth putting it on ?

Appreciated for any advice!  Thanks mate

Hi Michel

 Thanks for the advice, I will order the gyro and do some modification.

Thanks

Hi,
For sure, you can use this ADC with a Gyro (or  other analog sensor) but
this is a 3.3v max input level, so if your gyro  is a 5v, don't forget the
resistor bridge...or use  ADC5 or ADC6 : these inputs have their own
on-board resistor bridge.

Hi guys

I was wondering, on the "USB" port on TinyV2 has a ADC_7, could I use
this
chaneel for connecting roll gyro?

Thanks

Hi all

This is my first post and a request for help...Have been with the paparazzi
AP stuff for awhile now on the wiki and the archives and finally managed to
get one and thought to get to configuring the zillion steps one by one....
started to load the tunnel to configure the GPS and here is my first
hurdle...

Connected to the USB header on the AP, powered the AP, and in a terminal
window gave the command
make AIRCRAFT=MJ5 tunnel.upload

The only response I get is
make: *** No rule to make target `tunnel.upload'.  Stop.

I tried the same from the paparazzi center and the same error

BUILD TJ1
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/prashanth/paparazzi3'
make[1]: Nothing to be done for `all_ac_h'.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/prashanth/paparazzi3'
cd sw/airborne; make PAPARAZZI_SRC=/home/prashanth/paparazzi3

make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/prashanth/paparazzi3/sw/airborne'
make: *** [tunnel.compile] Error 2
make: Leaving directory `/home/prashanth/paparazzi3'

Many thankx in advance for any any help in this direction

Prashanth

Hello,

Thank you Michel. GTK. Can I ask a question related...

My Gyro is 5v (ADXRS300) with ST1, ST2, TEMP, 2.5V, RATE, GND, 5V..

Can someone please give the pins to connect to the Tiny on ADC2?

5v is easy -> +5v on Tiny
GND -> GND on Tiny
....
Without any instructions on the Wiki about the connector and going by
the funjet1.xml airframe file given I had it connected to ADC1
GRYO ---- TINY
GND -> GND
RATE->ADC3
5V->+5v
I hope I didn't damage ADC1 on the Tiny

Thank you,
-David

Hi,

The easiest way to connect a ADXRS300 on a Tiny v2 (or a Twog) is to use
ADC5 on the "ADC2" connector
- GND on GND (pin #1)
- +5V on +5v (pin #2)
- Rateout on ADC5 (pin #5) => resistor bridge for 5v sensor is included for
this ADC on the Tiny V2

And... that all !

Don't worry, ADC1 is probably alive :)

Excellent,

Thank you Michel,
Also THANK YOU! ...  for taking such time to document the designs so
well on the Wiki.

When I first started my interest with Paparazzi Tiny1.3 was new...BOM,
Pinout, even photos were scarce. I use your Wiki pages exclusively and
many many times a day to refer to the pinouts, layouts etc. Questions
asked of me are most often replied with URL right to your pages to the
pinouts or images or notes.

Well done. I'm sure many many people appreciate the time you spent to
document so thoroughly. I may not find what I am looking for on the
Wiki but I have to at the same time give credit that the latest
designs are extremely well documented there.

Regards,
David
