You are correct that one of the new features of the Tiny 2.x is the ability to connect 5V analog devices such as this gyro directly to ADC5/6 without the need for modification.

All,
ADXRS300 Gyro, I have a few now. Wiki under "Gyroscopes"
(http://paparazzi.enac.fr/wiki/index.php/Gyroscopes) is confusing. It implies a
"resistor bridge is required". However ADC5/ADC6 using default resistor for
R12,R13 seems to imply 5v input on those and that a resistor bridge would not
be required.
Can a Tiny2.11 with the default 1.8k RES on R12/R13 use the Sparkfun Gyro
Breakout boards for ADXR Gyros without having to modify them (i.e. add a
resistor bridge)?
