You only need :

- Pin 1 (GND)
- Pin 3 (USB+)
- Pin 4 (USB-)
- Pin 5 (VBUS) = +5v from USB

You need an external power supply during flashing. Never supply the tiny with USB : +5v VBUS only indicates the presence of USB to the tiny.

How do I make the USB wiring harness?

Do I need all 8 wires from the "USB" header on the paparazzi going to the corresponding pins on the USB connector? Or is it enough to have Pin 1 (GND), Pin 2(+3.3V),  Pin 3(USB+),  Pin 4(USB-), and Pin 5(VBUS) only connected?

Does the USB power the Tiny during flashing the AP? Or do I still need external power supply connected to the Tiny?
