Thanks for the explanation. I traced the problem to a confusion in my class constructor using the width and height instead of the max values.
In every t01.exr I've ever seen, the displayWindow matches that dataWindow.  I 
just checked the one on the GitHub repository to verify.

I found this to be an "optimization" on my part of not setting the display window when it matched the data window.

Sorry for all the trouble I made you go through.
