In fact, it don't seem to be a typically gentoo problem: I've compiled
jack from the homepage tarball, and I don't have the intclient included
file too...
I don't understand what you're saying above.
Sorry, I posted to Ross Clement in private by error, here are the
messages I sent:
* first one:
I *think* you have to update your jack version. I wouldn't claim that I
*know* that you have to update your jack version.
Ok, let's test ;)
* second one:
ok, I've got it, now.
So, it seems that om-synth depends on jack >= 0.100.
cheers
* third one:
the only options are some pretty bizarre scenarios such as you having
managed to
delete that file from your previous jack installation or even worse.
You mean intclient should be in the 0.99 version? Hum, in fact I used
the 0.99-r1 version of jack (r1 stand for revision 1, done by the
maintener of the gentoo package), but I don't see why gentoo would jack
not to have this file.
Well, I think it's no matter here. I'm going to reinstall the 0.99 to
ensure the file exist, I'll tell you the result if you need it (maybe I
may warn gentoo users on your wiki if there is effectively a problem
with this package? )
(sorry for the confusion)
