Not yet I think. You supplied meridianfwd.m which is useful in itself.

I'll ask Alfredo Foltran if he agrees with absorbing some of his functions in
the mapping package. It's all GPL so no strict need but it's the minimal
politeness for these sort of cases.
(ISTR his name from some other occasion)
Also vicentyDirect.m needs some work.
