Hey!
Nice to hear that you would like to use the Octave image package. In
principle it should work well with Octave 4.4 (at least it does on all
computers that I use).
What precise error message do you get
* when you do "pkg install -forge image"
* when you do "pkg load image"
from within the Octave command prompt?
