Not surprisingly, it builds just fine on Kubuntu 12.04, 64 bit linux with
most development libraries installed. Running 'make check' shows
Summary:
PASS 11500
FAIL 1
XFAIL 6
I tried the GUI and it worked. The only other installed language I had was
French so I tried that. There are a few missing translations, including
the Experimental GUI window notification.
