When you do "hg update @", the @ bookmark becomes active and moves
with you as you create new commits. If you commit when @ isn't active,
this will fail to happen.
In a recentish version of hg (2.5 or so, I forget), the @ bookmark has
special treatment and becomes active by default on new clones. That's
the reason I introduced it, to distinguish our development head on the
default branch from those of our GSoC students.
