I was asking Joanna (who helped us setting the wiki some 2 years ago)
about having permissions for a group of pages on the wiki.

Apparently it is possible to create a namespace on the wiki that is
readable by everyone but only editable by a group of users. So we
could create a namespace and group (maybe named dev) so that a page
such as "dev:todo_octave3_8_0" is only editable by Octave developers.
This could become handy again in the future.

Do you think this worth setting up? When asked about how much work
this would take:

<joannac> Erm, it depends. The background housekeeping and stuff might
take a while.
<joannac> Ditto setting up the permissions for the usergroup properly
<joannac> It really depends on what kind of permissions setup you
want, how restrictive it is
