Hi Ming,
Please do not top-post, and copy the list on all GSoC correspondence.

Dear Patrick,I am currently arranging the time so probably I will get much more hours per day for this Gsoc project.
I will email you the result soon.
Kind regards,
Great to hear.

Two hours per day seems quite light. I don't know about others, but I was anticipating a minimum of 20 hours per week (much more, ideally).
As others have commented, GSoC should be considered a full-time commitment. Will you be able to devote 40 hours per week?
Also, we may have difficulty communicating due to the time difference. I have a full-time job and work M-F during the day. I can be on IRC during those times (UTC -0600), and some times on weekends (finding a regular weekend time at this point is not possible). Please include in your proposal your suggestions for communicating. And please be realistic. For example, if you have classes during the summer, staying up late might not be possible. But think about what you need and what works best for you. Also keep in mind there are lots of others on the list and IRC who can help, at least for certain types of problems.
In your proposal, please do your best to provide time estimates for your work. I know estimating software development is not easy, and gets better with experience, but I'd like you to at least give it a try. This probably requires reading some of the existing code and really thinking about how you would solve the problem.
Regards,
Patrick
